The Enterprise IT Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s enterprise-level IT infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT systems across all departments. The Enterprise IT Administrator will manage cloud environments, on-premises systems, networking, firewalls and enterprise software to support business operations effectively.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage.
Ensures optimal performance, availability, and scalability of IT systems.
Collaborates with team members on system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Administers and optimizes cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
Implements security best practices and cost-optimization strategies in the cloud.
Supports hybrid integrations and maintains business continuity.
Implements system monitoring tools and ensures proactive identification of issues.
Prepares and presents reports on system performance, team productivity, and project progress.
Enforces security policies and ensures adherence to industry standards.
Conducts regular audits and addresses vulnerabilities promptly.
Acts as the liaison between the team and upper management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Works with other departments to support IT infrastructure needs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;
5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role;
Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator;
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert;
ITIL Foundation Certificate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Expertise in managing cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS);
Advanced knowledge of networking (e.g., firewalls, VLANs, VPNs);
Proficiency in system monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios);
Strong understanding of IT security practices and compliance frameworks;
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities;
Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
