What You Can Expect

As the Accounting Officer, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day accounting operations for assigned territories. You’ll work closely with Finance Managers, the Controllership team, Local Territory and Function Heads, regulators, tax authorities, and key internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing accounting functions across multiple territories, including but not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany reconciliations

  • Preparing and reviewing General Ledger and Sub Ledger reconciliations

  • Preparing Bank Reconciliations

  • Assisting in variance analysis for monthly financial performance

  • Investigating intercompany breaks and coordinating with counterparts

  • Ensuring timely execution of claims and vendor payments

  • Processing monthly journals

  • Supporting finance leadership with other assigned duties


Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Qualified Finance Professional in accounting or finance

  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience (preferably with P&C Insurance companies or financial institutions)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Able to prioritize urgent requests and adapt to daily changes

  • Team-oriented with the ability to lead in a complex matrix environment

  • Fluent in English

  • Sound financial and technical skills
