A Customer Service Intern is responsible for serving customers by providing them with service and product information; helping in resolving product and service problems; providing a range of sales, underwriting (limited to simple risks) and administrative services to support the achievement of the Front Office Department outcomes in a timely, reliable, and efficient manner.
- Provides high-quality customer service that is accurate, polite, and competent to prospects and customers;
- Educates prospects and customers to create greater demand for insurance and enables them to get more from the products and services offered;
- Keeps track of customer interactions and transactions including compliments, complaints and action taken. Follows up as needed and/or as instructed;
- Ensures that all client transactions are done in a correct and timely matter
- Informs Team leader Front Office on all customer complaints and refers unsolved issues;
- Maintains a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making. Handles issues in the best interest of both customer and company.
- Works closely with other Customer Service Representatives and Claims;
- Develop and contribute a productive customer relation.
- Display a positive and proactive attitude
- Welcome them in a cordial and friendly manner
- Ensuring that they obtain optimal service
- Provide them with accurate information about our products and ensure that their needs are met
- Supply customer with quotation when requested
- Assist with mutations on the policies
- As a Customer Service Intern, you will fully cooperate as an employee after a related starter training course
Requirements:
- Minimum MBO Study;
- Must work well under pressure;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Be able to juggle many projects simultaneously
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills (orally and written);
- Must also have an excellent sense of priorities;
- Must be a team player and can work harmoniously with others;
- Being attentive and patient;
- Able to speak and write Papiamentu, English and Dutch fluently; multi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus;
- Assignment management;
- Being professional and diplomatic;
- Must have excellent telephone ethics;
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Application (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
