Proposed Calendar Concepts



1.Theme: From Our Home to Yours

The overall theme is to connect with people through something we all enjoy - Food. In addition, this calendar concept has the potential to create engagement, excitement and joyful experiences before and after it is released.

Concept summary:

During the Covid-19 lockdown, we all became chefs and tried our hand at different recipes. This calendar would focus on providing recipes for various dishes that were cooked, sought after and enjoyed in the Caribbean and that reflects our rich culinary history and influences: British, Dutch, French, Spanish, Creole, West Indian and East Indian, Chinese etc. thus ensuring all islands are incorporated. Each month in the calendar would showcase a different recipe and of course an image of the completed dish/meal or its preparation.

Approach:
  • We would like to do an internal campaign/competition with you, our NAGICO staff, where you submit your most cherished recipe under specific categories (e.g. we could include a bbq category to entice males as well), along with at least 2 pictures for consideration and that each winner be given USD$100. We would then include the winning recipes, pictures and name of the relevant NAGICO staff in the calendar. This we expect would create engagement and excitement at staff level and instill a feeling of belonging and it would truly make it personal ‘From Our Home to Yours’.
  • We would repackage the recipes into a downloadable file which would be accessible from NAGICO’s website and advertise this in the calendar, thus making it a keep-sake item as many persons love to collect recipes. This would also drive traffic to our website.
  • We can also use the calendar to run competitions/challenges (i.e. campaigns) during the 2021 year with the public (e.g. try your hand at one of the recipes in the NAGICO calendar and post a picture on FB or Insta etc. tagging NAGICO…)


2.Theme: Happiness is…

3. Theme: Always There

As an insurer we sell a promise. A promise to be there when that ‘uncertain but possible’ event happens. One of the best forms of advertising is testimonials/ word of mouth. The objective of this concept is to share real stories about NAGICO delivering on its promise to always be there for their clients but through the lens of the customer (i.e. the customer experience). It is a core aspect of our being and forms part of our tag line, publicly declaring to the world that this is what we are about.

Concept summary:

Each month showcase a testimonial from a client. The testimonials will not be focused solely on claims handling in relation to our various products, but it would also include stories to promote NAGICO as a full service and savvy group. Here are a few examples of what each month could look like:

  1. Story of Customer experience with respect to NAGICO’s response time (e.g. during Covid-19 lockdown)
  2. Story of Customer experience with respect to medical evacuation
  3. Story of Customer experience with respect to educating them about their options and their policy
  4. Story of Customer experience with respect to post disaster service (hurricane, flood, fire)
  5. Story of Customer experience with respect to roadside service
  6. Story of Customer experience with respect to ensuring their policies do not lapse
  7. Story of Customer experience with respect to NAGICO maybe celebrating with them as their child graduates (after they had an education plan with us)
