NAGICO PROVIDES A TOUR TO MPC STUDENTS

Philipsburg, St. Maarten: NAGICO Insurances continued its support of education by opening its doors to provide tours and information to several students from the Milton Peters College (VSBO-TKL section). NAGICO is one of several organizations that was approached by the VSBO-TKL department head, Antonio Aventurin, to allow the students to visit the company. The tours which were done on Tuesday 3rd March and Wednesday 4th March, provided value in terms of education and personal development to the approximately 79 students who visited NAGICO.
The students were guided on the tours by two seasoned employees, Mrs. Doldria Aventurin and Mr. Farley Elshot. During the tour, the students were provided with a brief history of the company, and general information about all of NAGICO’s departments. Information was also made available to the students about the possibilities for future employment at NAGICO. During the excursion several students were also given the opportunity to meet (2) two members of NAGICO’s executive team, CFO, Mr. Glenville Blake and Head of IT, Mr. Vincent Haakmat.
Mrs. Carol Walraven, one of the teachers who accompanied the students remarked, “I think it is wonderful NAGICO was able to provide the tour for the students. We appreciate the fact that everyone was so hospitable. The NAGICO staff really made the students feel important by taking the time out of their busy schedules to interact with them.“
