NAGICO NAMES EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR AND MANAGER OF THE YEAR

Philipsburg, St. Maarten -The achievements of NAGICO Head-office staff (St. Maarten) shone brightly last Saturday night as the company recognized several of their Head-office employees for their service to the company.
The occasion was the annual Christmas dinner and dance held at the Maho theatre where staff and their family, together with agents from across the region, the St. Maarten Agents and specially invited guests gathered for the festive affair.
Centre stage in the limelight belonged to Edward Lloyd for Manager of the Year and Brian Stevens, named Employee of the Year. These two employees were lauded for their excellent management practices and beyond- the- call- of- duty service respectively.
Recognition of 20 years of service to the company went to Ruth York, Iris Bussue and Cassandra Bryson. The ten year awardees were Leonidas Matthew, Charles Woodly and John Harrigan.
Dwayne Elgin was named a NAGICO Shooting Star, in recognition of his Insurance examination achievements; NAGICO places considerable emphasis on educational advancement, and as a result recognizes a member of staff each year.
The winners row for special recognition awards comprised of four persons. These were John Harrigan, Lennox Fleming, Ellen Benjamin and Shelly Alphonso; all four were awarded for their selfless service to the company during the year.
The awards were presented by CEO, McSood Amjad and his team of Executive Managers who included Eric Ellis, Raymond Ramphal, Glenville Blake, Vincent Haakmat and John Lawrence.
Mr. Amjad lauded the awardees for their hard work adding that he was proud to have them as members of the NAGICO team.
