THE GOVERNMENT PLAYERS REVEALED IN THE NAGICO CELEBRITY BASKETBALL GAME

Philipsburg, St. Maarten: The NAGICO Celebrity Basketball Game has many well know local personalities playing in the up coming match on Sunday 31st August 2008. The government team is made up of a large cross-section of persons from various government departments.

To qualify to play on the Government team one has be employed directly or indirectly to by the St. Maarten island government. At the time of this release there was a representative from the fire department, police department, public prosecutors department, Sport and Recreation department and the economics department to name a few.

The format of the game currently puts the government team in a position where they do not know which charity they will be playing for, The UJIMA or The I CAN foundation. The referees who will be keeping the officiating on the night are Tyrone Philips and Patrick Lainez. The two referees will attempt to keep the game as peaceful as possible since the participating players are very competitive.

The team made up of government officials will have at least one none government person amongst them. The two foundations are allowed to pick at least one person of their choice to play on the team that is representing them. The I CAN foundation has picked the General Manager of Belair Hotel, Mr. Calvin Turner as their respective representative on the court and UJIMA has picked Mr. Wrensly St. Jules one of the foundations success stories.
