NAGICO MAKES A SPECIAL DONATION TO THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Philipsburg, St. Maarten, - NAGICO Insurances has shown its dedication to some of St. Maarten's most accomplished athletes by making a donation to the tune of NAF. 10,000 to the Special Olympics. The Special Olympics received support earlier in the year from NAGICO in the form of insurance coverage for the athletes participating in the Beijing Olympics, but after considerations were made it was decided that the additional support would be given.
NAGICO has always shown its strong support for the Special Olympics committee by making yearly donations. These donations have allowed the athletes to travel to international events and compete on the "Big stage" , they have also facilitated expansion of the program to the athletes of the Prins Willem Alexander Primary School and contributed to the provision of health testing for the athletes, in addition, the funds have been instrumental in creating public awareness and the expansion of sports disciplines.
