NAGICO WINS ENVIRO-VISION AWARD

Philipsburg, St. Maarten - NAGICO Insurances goes "Green" as the company wins its first Enviro-Vision award for "Outstanding Environmental Friendly Company of 2007". NAGICO insurances has always used green as its official company color since its inception in 1982. Now "Green" can also be used to describe its focus in terms of its commitment to corporate responsibility. Throughout 2007 NAGICO focused on the improvement of the environment through several projects, sponsorships and commitments.

There were four (4) other companies up for the award of best environmentally conscious company on the island. The companies vying for the prestigious award were G.E.B.E, Napa, Tri-Sport, Windward Island Bank and NAGICO Insurances. NAGICO won the award with the promise that when the construction of the new NAGICO headquarters in Cay Hill began, that wild plant and animal life in the area would be taken into consideration.

NAGICO remains committed to encouraging environmentally conscious thinking which will certainly be beneficial to the youth of tomorrow.
